This week I led Italian journalist Eliano Rossi, and some Dutch journalists led by Tommaso Sarri, through Rocinha several times. Both were scouting for stories about Rocinha, and the transition it is going through. I led both down the path that I am hoping to develop as a biodiversity corridor, cutting through the favela from one side of the Atlantic rainforest to the other. I am beginning to identify wayfinding points along this route to start guerrilla micro-gardening initiatives.
